Fantastic piece, I immediately had a flash back of the movie “The Elephant Man”, truly an era where labor unions were needed.

Wonderful piece and a very sad and dark time in American history. Thank you for this post. I too was reminded of “The Elephant Man”. The cruelty these two brothers endured was a commentary on the times.
