Hi Marina, good to have you back. I have your color restoration of the portrait of General Patton hanging on my home office wall. When I look at it, I know that the ribbons on his blouse are correct. I served in the army (with General Patton’s grandson by the way) and this kind of detail means a lot to me. As a retired therapist, I often think about the kids I worked with. What happened to them? How are they? We all second guess ourselves no matter the work. You have a gift, the product of which many of us cherish. So, get busy. We’re waiting to see what you come up with next.
Wow.... thank you for this post! I picture is worth a thousand words. I have often admired the Nine Kings photo, but your annotated version instantly helped me understand the amount of work that went into your colorized version. For now, I don't think AI can replace you. I remember your commentary about a colorized photo you did of a young Polish girl who died in a concentration camp. You wrote so movingly about her, and it made me see the photo with new eyes. AI can't do that, only YOU can, and it was your heart, soul, and commentary that made that photo so impactful for me. Thank you for your work!
Hey pal x still being brilliant I see x (with words and colourising photographs) If it means anything at all I feel ur work is alive with history and brings history alive. Ur amazingly talented and the work u do is important and valuable. Thank you x
I've been contemplating how creativity is one reason finding motivation in these time matter, and also how it might be possible to create handmade books again, for books to become some sort of community exchange at a deeper level of love and embodied presence. Your post here helps, thank you.

Wishing you a great 2025! Follow your heart and let the Lord take care of the rest.
Chuckle over the sourdough starter...I know someone who actually thought about that and almost did it!
